It is a new dawn for the employees of Premier Foods Ltd. (PFL) after the launch of merit and needs based scholarship programme. The programme was launched in the second term of this year’s school calendar. The news of the programme was welcomed and embraced by the employees who often resort to taking loans in order to meet their family needs, key among them paying school fees.

With this new programme, the employees can now shift focus and do things they could previously not do such as saving or investing. So far, the programme is supporting three students who performed exceptionally well in their primary level examinations.

“God is faithful and I trusted Him to help my daughter Ruth stay in school because she is a bright student but with my husband’s and my little income, we were struggling. But now, we are happy that Ruth will study stress free”, Janet Khasiala

The team realised that many eye diseases have no early symptoms and therefore single best way to protect your vision is through regular professional eye examinations.
